In all of its activities, AP strains to respect all of the relevant laws and directives regarding environmental aspects and pursues continuous improvement to reduce environmental impact to a level “in line with the use of the best technology available and economically feasible”.
To this end, AP has identified the most important environmental aspects and has implemented an environmental control system (ECS) to keep under control the environmental impact and to reduce it with time. The system has been implemented in line with UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 standards and certified by Cermet in 2003.
The general principles of how the ECS works are shown in the environmental polity of AP, which was the first company in Italy to obtain in 2004 the integrated environmental authorisation from the Marche region, required of all companies subject to the law 59/2005.
